Professor Azeem Majeed's Web Site
Welcome to my website. I began to set up this
website in 2002. It contains details
about me and about my academic, managerial and
clinical work. I have also posted PDF versions of
many of my journal articles on this web site, as
well as some other resources for doctors,
academics and students. I would like to
make this website a resource that is of value to
these groups.
Please let me
know if you have any comments or suggestions as
to how it could be improved, or if you spot any
errors. Further information about my work
is available from
Imperial College Page, my
Imperial College Publications Page and from
my
Blog.
Where to Find Information?
There are five main sections to
this web site. They can be accessed by clicking
on the navigation buttons on either side of this
page.
The About Me section contains pages
that describe my skills and experience. This
includes clinical, teaching and research
expertise.
The Publications section contains a
complete list of my academic publications. Many
of these articles can be downloaded as PDF
files.
The Resources section contains many of the
tools and articles I have produced over the years for
doctors and students. This includes clinical audit
packages, lecture notes, and presentations. These are
available free of charge. I have also included resources
produced by some of my colleagues.
The Institutions section contains infomation
and links about the other institutions I am affiliated
to. These are Imperial College London, Imperial College
Healthcare NHS Trust, and the Clapham Manor Health Centre.
The Columns section
contains details of my monthly column on medical and
health-related issues. These are usually on topics of
wide interest or that have been reported extensively in
the media.
The News section
contains periodic updates of my research, academic and
other clinical activities.
Training Opportunities
The Department of Primary Care & Public Health at
Imperial College London is
approved for higher specialist training in public
health. We also train clinical research fellows from
other specialties, and health services and health policy
researchers from both the UK and overseas.
